What is the average price for installing a new condensing boiler in the loft ,old boiler is 10 years (kitchen)
I have this homecare 400 Cover with British gas since last September. This covers Central Heating System, plumbing electrical.
My boiler broke down as the flue was leaking rain water from the roof into the boiler, located in the kitchen. A B.G engineer came to repair but instead condemned my boiler deeming it dangerous and disconnected it. I asked them for a quote. Installing a new condensing boiler in the loft, with new flue sytem will cost 3800, inclusive of discount £400 off. I wonder if that is double its actual price. Will I need some other quotes ohter than theirs? I presumed it would be in the region of £2200.00.

What size in terms of KW and BTU would be adequate for an avearage size 3 -bed mid terrace house with double galzing, and which makes are the best in terms of reliability and performance. Many thanks....

we had a new one put into our kitchen cupboard witha ll brickwork and commisioning done for £2122 it was put in in january this year,Didn`t like the timer so he changed it for free.all old pipwork capped off included in the price.strange thing is though that even after 4 months he still hasn`t sent the bill for the work and we didn`t pay a deposit. The house is up for sale now .Could be in for a little win then
anything between £1600- £2500 is about right, especialy if new pipe work is needed
