I have heard good reports about Valiant boilers but any recommendations would be much appreciated.... - What’s the difference between a combination and condensing boiler?
We’re trying to find out what kind our boiler is (Ideal Mexico Super 2 model) but it’s listed as a condensing boiler. What’s the difference between this and a combination boiler?... - Can I get a new boiler that is not condensing or combination, I have tenants?
I have a maisonette with reinforced concrete walls so drilling through is a nightmare, there is no obvious drain for condensation. I want to keep the water tank. The current (traditional) boiler is located in a bedroom. Can I have a boiler which is not condensing and still have a certificate to satisfy my letting responsibilities. So I can have a conventional boiler. What should I have to pay for supply and fit, and which boiler do you recommend and why? Many thanks....

If it’s fan draught room sealed the minimum distance is 300mm, 1200mm if sited under carport.
It is 300mm from an external or internal corner, your instruction manual should tell you this, it is however favourable to be further away because of the amount of plume produced from these boilers, if it is not condensing, the regulations are different, but you cant install it. For many boilers, there is a part called a plume management kit, which could be used to divert problematic pluming.
